JottSmart (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a mobile app that helps you generate transcripts, summaries, and action items from your meetings. JottSmart does not store meeting recordings or notes in a cloud database. Your data remains under your control.

What data JottSmart stores

• On-device content: Transcripts, summaries, and action items generated from your meetings are stored locally on your device. These are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
• No recordings stored: JottSmart does not store meeting audio or video recordings inside the app.
• Analytics (limited): We collect basic, non-personal usage data (such as app opens and feature interactions) to help improve JottSmart and measure performance. Analytics data is not linked to your meeting content.

How to delete your data

1) Delete on-device content

• Open the JottSmart app and delete any transcripts or summaries you no longer need.
• Delete the JottSmart app to remove all locally stored app data from your device. Reinstalling the app creates a fresh instance with no previous data.
• If you exported notes or summaries to other apps (such as Files or Notes), those copies must be deleted separately from those apps.

2) Request deletion of analytics data

Analytics data collected by JottSmart is not tied to an account or personal identity. If you would like us to delete analytics data associated with your use of the app (to the extent technically possible), you may contact us using the details below.

Include: your device model (e.g., iPhone 14), iOS version, and approximate dates you used the app.

We will process or relay your request as applicable and confirm the outcome within 30 days. Note: Aggregated or de-identified analytics data may not be removable.

3) Subscriptions & billing

Subscriptions and billing are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
